New Hope & Lambertville Fireworks Set to Return!

PLEASE NOTE: IN 2014, FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS WERE SUSPENDED IN NEW HOPE & LAMBERTVILLE.

Beginning May 25th, New Hope & Lambertville will host the kickoff to its 3rd season of Friday Night Fireworks. The annual event, put on by the New Hope & Lambertville Chambers Of Commerce, has become a huge hit among locals. Each week, the celebration draws a sizable crowd of individuals and families looking to kick off their warm summer weekends with a bang (pun intended, but someone had to say it!) We have really enjoyed this event each year – it really brings the town together and it helps to make the summer weekends at little more festive.

The 15-week spectacle of lights over the Delaware River begins at 9:30 PM each Friday until August 31st. The glittering ten-minute firework show is orchestrated by Garden State Fireworks. In past years, the fireworks have drawn a sizable crowd, brought the communities of Lambertville and New Hope together, and helped to bolster local business revenues. This year, the borough will have street teams collecting donations. Friday Night Fireworks are made possible by 100% charitable contributions from local/corporate business owners, residents and tourists. Additionally, special celebrity guests are slated to conduct some of this year's countdowns, and live music will be part of each week's celebration.

According to borough officials, donations will also be collected during Lambertville’s Shad Fest on April 28 and 29, 2012 at the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce booth. Limited edition photographs, prints and note cards will be sold with 100% of profits raised going to directly to the Friday Night Fireworks.
