VITA Tax Assistance Preparation Program
Free tax preparation assistance is being offered by the Bucks County Opportunity Council for low to middle income residents who qualify. People who earn $54,000 or less annually, senior citizens and individuals with limited English skills may be eligible.
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) has been working with residents in Bucks for nearly 15 years and has prepared more than 10,000 tax returns. Trained volunteers have been able to maximize credits and refunds as well as save families tax preparation fees charged by other preparers.
From now until tax due day, April 15, volunteers are available at four locations throughout Bucks County in Warminster, Levittown, Newtown and Quakertown. Limited hours are also available in Doylestown. Visit their full listing of locations, days and hours here.
