This “Yuletide of yore” style celebration is breathtaking and remains the favorite of young and old who love holiday magic. Holiday Season at Peddler's Village

Peddler's Village is always a popular holiday destination in Bucks County! Shop unique specialty shops, enjoy the more than one million twinkling lights, and check out all of the holiday festivities. Peddler's Village also hosts a Holly Jolly Weekend on December 2nd and 3rd with Santa parades starting at 1:30 pm both days. There will be live musical entertainment, family activities, holiday food and drink specials and a gingerbread display.

A Very Furry Christmas Celebration

A Very Furry Christmas Celebration at Sesame Place is a festive, family-friendly celebration with everyone's favorite Sesame Street friends. The park is transformed into a one-of-a-kind Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights and festive decorations all around. At the center of the 1-2-3 Christmas Tree show, is a 30-foot illuminated pixel-based tree, that will project festive animated images while guests can dance along to a holiday soundtrack – all making for the ultimate light show experience.

Mercer Museum Holiday Open House

New Hope Railroad | Santa's Steam Ride & North Pole Express

When: Various dates thru Christmas Eve
Where: 32 W. Bridge Street, New Hope, PA

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus on a journey through historic Bucks County on a train pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive. The whole family can enjoy the ride with a warm cookie and caroling from roaming musicians. Each child will receive their own sleigh bell gift from Santa himself. NBA/McCaffrey’s Newtown Holiday Parade 2023

December 3, 2-4 pm | Newtown Borough

This parade is a huge event that continues to provide a magical experience for the whole community. Hosted each year by the Newtown Business Association, it is a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved and for families to line the streets to watch a spectacular event.  In past years over 60 groups have participated, totaling over 1,800 participants. The parade kicks off at 2 pm at the Stocking Works.

Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show

November 18 – January 8, Sun – Thurs 5-8 pm, Fri & Sat, 5-9 pm

Shady Brook Farm's spectacular Holiday Light Show features more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland. Encounter whimsical displays and characters you might recognize as you drive through in the comfort of your own car. You can also enjoy the show on an open-air wagon ride (weather permitting). Stop in after the show to warm up at a toasty campfire, enjoy hot chocolate, cocoa, s'mores kits, tasty treats and locally produced adult beverages. Get your tickets on the website.

Holiday Lights at Fonthill Castle

When: Nov – December
Where: Fonthill Castle, E. Court Street & Route 313, Doylestown, PA

Explore the 2023 holiday lights route at your own pace at the Holiday Light Meander Days. The staff will be available along the route to answer any questions. Evening tours are also available. See the Fonthill Castle decked out for the holidays. Fonthill Castle was home to Henry Chapman Mercer and an early example of reinforced concrete architecture. The guided historic tours are 45 minutes.

Annual Festival of Trees

When: November 15 – January 7

View the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse (a National Historic Landmark) as they come alive with stunning decorations for the holiday season. This event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed by some of Bucks County’s best artists/decorators and local community groups. The Festival of Trees is one of the most unique and historic holiday traditions in the region. This year, Pearl S. Buck International is thrilled to treat guests to a new exhibit displayed throughout the Pearl S. Buck House of original artwork by renowned artist Anna Marie Magagna, created to illustrate Pearl S. Buck's children's book, Christmas Miniature.

LumiNature at Philadelphia Zoo

Philadelphia Zoo is excited to light up the holidays once again with the return of LumiNature, presented by Chase. The giant-sized holiday extravaganza will transform the entire zoo into a nighttime wonderland. Guests will experience a magical journey of lights, music, sounds and surprises. LumiNature will feature over a million lights, 10+ miles of power cord, a new 20 ft. tall coral reef and under-the-sea inspired holiday tree, 200,000 lights shining above the Septa PZ Express Train and so much more. In addition, there will be seasonal fare, strolling performers, hot chocolate and ever-warming adult beverages to spark the holiday spirit.

Quakertown Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

When: Friday, December 1, 5:30 – 8 pm
Where: Downtown Quakertown

Quakertown Alive! is planning the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival for Friday, December 1st from 5:30 pm – 8 pm in downtown Quakertown. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 7 pm by Quakertown Fire Truck. There will be strolling Victorian carolers, unique gifts and food vendors, kid's train rides, QCHS varsity singers, Harley Hill Farm alpacas, live nativity, carriage rides and more.

109th Annual Doylestown Tree Lighting

When: November 24th, 5-8 pm
Where: Downtown Doylestown

The 109th Annual Doylestown Tree Lighting takes place on November 24th. Join Guest Emcee Richard Curtis as we welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus, Princess Ana & Queen Else from Arendelle and perhaps even the Grinch! The Doylestown Dart will be running free shuttles from the parking garage up to the tree lighting ceremony starting at 5 PM!

Annual Tree Lighting | Shops at Valley Square

When: November 11th, 4-7 pm
Where: The Shops at Valley Square, Route 611 & Street Road, Warrington, PA

The Shops at Valley Square's Annual Tree Lighting Event and the arrival of Santa takes place on Nov. 11th. This is the biggest event of the year. There will be a bounce house, music, face painting and glitter tattoos, free hot chocolate, food for purchase from a variety of delicious food trucks and take your own photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Santa's elves.

Dickens Night | Langhorne

When: December 1st, 6-9 pm
Where: 102 W Maple Ave, Langhorne, PA

A festive evening in Langhorne Borough brought to the community by Langhorne Borough Business Association. The event includes a visit from Santa and the tree lighting. There will be food, music, bonfires and shopping. Santa lights the tree at 7:30 pm. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food drive.

115th Annual Perkasie Tree Lighting Ceremony (America's Oldest!)

When: December 2, 5-8 pm
Where: The Borough of Perkasie

Perkasie’s Tree Lighting will be held on December 2nd, the oldest outdoor community tree lighting in the United States. Thousands of families visit Perkasie to celebrate the holiday season. Families can expect a traditional evening out, with holiday music, food and fun. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a Perkasie Electric Truck to light the Christmas tree at 7pm and one lucky child will be chosen to climb on the stage to help Santa light the tree; bring a non-perishable food item for Pennridge FISH to enter the drawing. Drawing at 6:30pm. SANTA ARRIVES AT 7:00PM

Christmas Barn Lighting 

When: December 9
Where: 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie, PA

Grab a glass of wine and watch the illumination of the barn as all the lights go on at once. Every year, more lights are added. Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck will be providing great food until 9 pm and Barefoot Bobby will be entertaining with live music from 4-8 pm. Lights will go on at 7 pm. Indulge in special hot cocoa or mulled wine and cookies.

Fallsington Community Christmas Tree Lighting

When: December 10, 6 pm
Where: 4 Yardley Ave, Fallsington, PA

Begin the busy holiday season with us during the annual community Christmas Tree Lighting!  We’ll gather around the tree setup on Meetinghouse Square, sing a few Christmas carols lead by the Fallsington Singers, & light the tree for the season.  Then enjoy some homemade snacks & warm drinks at the Fallsington United Methodist Church after visiting with Santa at the Burges-Lippincott House.

Plumstead Annual Tree Lighting

When: December 1, 6 pm
Where: Hanusey Park, 4757 Gordon Road, Doylestown, PA

Join us for our Annual Tree Lighting Event at Hanusey Park.  Come get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event will have an ugly sweater contest, dance performances, choir singing, crafts & refreshments, along with Santa & Mrs. Claus arriving by fire truck. (Inclement weather date is 12/2). We will also be collecting donations of unwrapped hats, scarves, mittens, pj's, toys, books & non-perishable food items for our Giving Tree Event.  This event helps local children in need.

Yardley's Old Fashioned Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

When: December 2, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Where: Buttonwood Park, S. Main St & Penn Valley Dr, Yardley, PA

The family-friendly parade, which will include an appearance by Santa himself, will be followed by the borough's tree lighting in Buttonwood Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available under the pavilion at Yardley Borough’s own Santa’s Workshop. Santa’s Workshop will be open immediately after the parade and then again on the Saturday’s leading up to Christmas (December 14 and 21) from 4-6pm.

Sellersville Winterfest & Tree Lighting

When: December 9, 4 pm
Where: Sellersville Borough, 140 E. Church Street, Sellersville, PA

Kick off the holiday season with the Sellersville Borough at its traditional Winterfest celebration and Tree lighting. Businesses will be offering all sorts of holiday fun, including specials and raffles. The day will conclude with the annual lighting of the tree.

The virtuosic ringing of the 12-member professional handbell ensemble Philadelphia Bronze will celebrate an important anniversary for a Bucks County landmark, Malmark Bellcraftsmen.
