American Art Pottery Show, Sale, & Auction
Crowne Plaza Bucks County Hotel, 4700 Street Rd, Feasterville-Trevose

The AAPA annual Convention, Show, Sale & Auction is returning to the Bucks County area May 2-5 at the Crowne Plaza Bucks County Hotel, 4700 Street Road, Trevose, PA.  The convention kicks off with a tour to the Metropolitan Museum in NYC, then follows with a reception, an over 300 piece pottery auction, seminars with Bruce Johnson & Bruce Austin, and a Show & Sale with over 30 of the country’s premiere pottery dealers.

The North Star Preview Screenings
Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St, Newtown
7:00pm & 9:00pm

The Newtown Theatre will host several preview screening opportunities to see THE NORTH STAR, the much anticipated indie feature film starring former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter. Written and directed by Thomas K. Phillips of Buckingham, PA, The North Star is the true story of Big Ben Jones, a slave in the 1840’s who makes a bold and courageous escape from a Virginia plantation all the way to Buckingham, PA, where he receives help from local Quakers. More showings throughout the weekend.

Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show
Bristol Riverside Theater, 120 Radcliffe St, Bristol

They were style with substance, swing with swagger and a non-stop party that everyone wanted access to. Now audiences can experience this critically acclaimed, hugely entertaining theatrical production which includes exciting new arrangements of the classic songs everyone knows and loves. In addition, audiences will hear original, never before heard songs written by the late, legendary songwriter, Ron Miller (For Once In My Life), and recorded voice overs made exclusively for this show by Sandy Hackett’s father, the late, legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett.

Save Kids Castle Benefit Concert
Doylestown Central Park
10:30am – 11:30am

This is an event to raise money to restore Kid’s Castle, one of the most amazing playgrounds that has ever existed. If you’ve been there, you know that it’s worth saving. If you haven’t been there, come to the event! Check it out! it’s going to be a blast!

Strawberry Festival
Peddler's Village, Route 202, Lahaska
10:30am – 6:00pm (also on Sunday, May 5th)

Juried Artisans show their wares and demonstrate their skills at the Street Road Green Artisan Area. Strawberries served up in various forms – dipped in chocolate, in assorted pastries and shortcake, jams, fritters and fresh and unadorned. Live entertainment and pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional Spring celebration.

Mommy's Lil' Black Book Show
Neshaminy Mall, Rt 1 & Bristol Rd, Bensalem
10:00am – 9:00pm

Join Mommy's Lil' Black Book (Happening List winner)  and other wonderful, local businesses for a day full of fun! Face painting, glitter tattoos, fabby manicures, karaoke, pictures with princesses and a pirate, mini fairytale boutique make overs, Child ID's, spin art, shopping, games, yummy treats, giveaways and more!

Welcome Day 2013

The Newtown Street Fair with Flair!  An Annual Event sponsored by the Newtown Business Association. A juried arts show and and fun activities for the whole family are organized by members of the Newtown Business Association.  Play the “Passport Challenge” for a chance to win an Apple iPad grand prize or additional prizes.  Visit the Food Court for Tasty Treats!  Arts and Crafts show with Local Artists! Entertainment will be on three stages this year!
