Newtown Athletic Club’s national award winning cheerleading team, Rock Starz All Stars, is hosting a Specialty Keen Camp starting Monday, June 27 to Friday, July 1 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the NAC Sports Training Center. The camp will be run by the renowned tumbling coaches from Woodward. The camp costs $285 for all members and non-members and is for ages 6 and older. Camp includes a mix of tumbling, cheerleading, and parkour; plus an hour of swim time at NAC’s premier outdoor pool complex, Escape.

The Rock Starz All Stars was born in the summer of 2007 as an extension of the very successful CRWA Council Rock Competition organization. There are 9 teams from levels 1-5 and ages 3-18 years old. For the previous nine years, the Rock Starz have participated in many local and regional competitions throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.

Specialty Keen Camp is open to all cheer athletes and gymnasts who are looking to learn, perfect and master new skills. The Woodward instructors have been instructing for many years and have helped numerous athletes gain power, confidence and better technique. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, the Woodward instructors will carefully tailor a program that meets your personal goals and helps you to achieve your highest potential.

The Rock Starz organization has grown tremendously the past few years and each year they gain more credibility in the cheer world. This past year, Rock Starz have completed and placed at Champions League, Battle at the Capitol and Summit; the most prestigious cheer championship in which Rock Starz were finalists and placed Top 10 in the World. A great many are at play when creating and maintaining a good team with strong tumblers. Rock Starz believe that the Woodward instructors took their team to a whole new level by teaching their athletes proper technique. With Specialty Keen Camp next week, they are looking forward to the season ahead as they will enter each competition stronger, faster and better than before.
