Why we love them: You scream, we scream, we all scream for ice cream at the Warrington Dairy Queen! A fantastic family-owned business and Bucks Happening List Winner 2019 for Best Ice Cream. With multiple five-star reviews from customers, this community staple is one of the best places to indulge your ice cream cravings.

Yardley Ice House – Bucks Happening List Finalist

Why we love them: Did you know the Yardley Ice House makes all their gourmet Italian Ice from scratch? With inventive flavors like Mountain Mint, Sweet Tea, and Banana Cream Pie, you won’t see the same flavor twice and there is enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest palate. Located in historic Yardley, makes it an ideal place to visit with your family on the weekends.

JoJo’s Ice Cream – Bucks Happening List Winner

Why we love them: On a Saturday night, for this Bucks Happening Winner for Best Water Ice, it’s not uncommon to see a line of people wrapped around the building – their Water Ice is THAT GOOD.  With a reputation for excellent customer service, this community gem is a great spot to beat the heat on a hot summer day!

Nina’s Waffles and Ice Cream – Bucks Happening List Finalist

Where: 2905 S Eagle Rd, Newtown, PA (plus additional locations)

Why we love them: Handmade ice cream and Belgian waffles, what’s not to love? What started out as one small location in New Hope has now come to Newtown and Doylestown, PA. Nina’s Waffles and Ice Cream focuses on using only the freshest, pure ingredients to create their confections. And their made from scratch Belgian waffles are absolutely amazing!

Why we love them: Small, batches of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and Italian ice made fresh every week! Unique, seasonal flavors with vegan options as well. You can enjoy classic flavors like Mint Chocolate Chip (their most popular) or more daring options like Chocolate Rosemary. Their outdoor seating makes it the perfect place to enjoy first Friday fireworks!
