The Sensational Francis Dunnery Electric Band

Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville
8:00pm

Guitarist, songwriter, producer, and astrologist Francis Dunnery has made a home on WXPN with songs like American Life in the Summertime and Too Much Saturn. Following a stint with progressive British rock band It Bites, Dunnery released several critically acclaimed albums debuting with the emotionally charged Fearless and played guitar for other artists including Robert Plant, Lauren Hill, and Santana.

Come relax on the patio and enjoy great live entertainment, while sampling locally made Rose Bank wines. Admission is free and food will be available in the farm market. This week's performers are the Idlewoodsmen with music from the 60s through today.

On the Road with Eric Howl and Guests
Doylestown Bookshop, 16 S. Main St, Doylestown
7:00pm – 9:00pm

Live music performances and readings as performed by Eric Howl and Guest, inspired by On The Road by Jack Kerouac. This is a donation based event with a portion of the proceeds going to support Drew and Judy Abbate.

A must listen event for anyone wanting to hear one of the top 100 guitarists of all time [according to Rolling Stone Magazine]. Tickets are $55 for VIP and $45 for general seating.

20th Annual Italian Festival
Bristol Lions Park, Mill & Radcliffe Sts, Bristol
12:00pm – 8:00pm [Rain date: September 15th]

Enjoy a full Italian food menu [with some non-Italian mixed in for everyone else] and the music of Jim Prinerano! There will also be rides for children.

Springfield Township Community Day
Silver Creek Athletic Association Park, Springtown
10:00am – 4:00pm

Here's to 7 years of the Springfield Township Community Day! There will be activities for community members of all ages to enjoy, including a car show, a photography contest, a silent auction, vendors, entertainment, food, a cake walk and bake sale and more! This year's theme is “Celebrating Years Past,” incorporated with a theme tent highlighting historical artifacts, paper, student displays and more. Admission and parking are free.

9/11 Heroes Run

Fonthill Park, Doylestown
Race starts at 2:00pm

The 9/11 Heroes Run unites communities internationally with the goal to never forget the sacrifices of the heroes of September 11th and in the wars since. Join in to raise awareness and honor the fallen. This is a 5k or  1 miles fun run/walk and welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and ages. Organized by local community volunteers, it is the perfect opportunity for everyone to come out and personally thank local veterans, their families, and first responders.

Apple FestivalApple Fun Days
The Market at DelVal, 2100 Lower State Rd, Doylestown

Take a wagon ride from the farm market to the orchard to pick-your-own apples. Don't forget to check out the inflatable attractions and crafts. Admission is $2 per person.
