Bucks County Community College invites you to get your “humor degree” with “Big Laughs on Campus.” The monthly virtual comedy series that gives back to Bucks students started in September and is nearing its final event on Thursday, December 17.

Hosted by comedy veteran Marc Kaye, the series features nationally touring comedians who are now headlining directly from their couches. The laughs get rolling from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. every third Thursday from September to December. Tickets are free, but Bucks County Community College will be providing links to various fundraising campaigns if you'd like to make a donation to help Bucks students.

Comedian Marc Kaye

Kaye has performed in clubs across the country, often finding that there are no real regional differences that can’t be overcome with humor. An avid writer and musician, Kaye has also written scripts, web series, and numerous humor articles, and written and trained for Fortune 500 Companies. He is the founder of Eliro, a company that combines the discipline of marketing and the creativity of humor and improv to help train, develop content, and drive strategic planning.

The next event, Thursday, December 17, features comedians Tracy Locke and Sean Conway.

Locke has been performing as a professional comedian for over 15 years, from sold out shows at Radio City Music Hall to comedy clubs across the nation. She has hosted television, live events and award shows, and co-founded the corporate training company Productively Funny. She was the warm-up comedian for the NYC audience of the Mel Robbins Show, and has also worked on the Harry Connick Jr. Show, The Meredith Vieira Show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and the Katie Couric Show. She co-hosts a weekly football-and-fun podcast called Girls Gone Green with fellow comedian Donna Vee, committed to changing the world one laugh at a time.

Conway is a Philadelphia-based comedian and actor who recently graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in theater. Raised in Levittown, Conway has been in various independent short films and commercials, frequently performs stand-up comedy in Philadelphia, and runs a show in Bristol. He currently studies with Bryan Fox at Actors Lab Philly.

Although tickets are free, donations are encouraged to the college’s Bucks Student Emergency Fund, established to keep community college students on track when they face unexpected hardships. Go HERE to make a donation.

Free tickets for the live, online event must be reserved at bucks.edu/tickets. A link to view the performance will be sent by email after registration.
