We first told you about Gasland over the summer (check out our article here). If you missed it the first time around, though, you now have another chance to view the startling documentary about how gas extraction is affecting our water supply. This Friday at 7pm, the BuxMont Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will show the film at 7pm and because you'll no doubt have a lot to say afterwards, stick around for the discussion. Suggested donation is $10 – Half price for students, seniors, military and their dependents. No donation refused. Doors open at 6:30.

At the Michener Art Museum, explore Turning “Ordinary to Extraordinary” through January 23rd.  Artist and poet Patricia Goodrich takes ordinary chairs and hangs them from the ceiling and off the walls, while disembodied voices envelope the room. Goodrich scavenged the chairs from thrift shops, flea markets or the roadside to transform the “Ordinary to Extraordinary.” Ordinary to Extraordinary is part of Art Speaks and includes artwork from Bucks County residents selected from 12 community centers ranging in age from 2 to 93.  Admission: $10 adults/$9 seniors/$7.50 college students/$5 ages 6-18/FREE members and children under 6 215-340-9800

Stay warm & work off some of those last few holiday cookies with a dance party this weekend.  First, Havana hosts the band “Generation Next” at 8:30pm followed by a DJ at Midnight. Then, for a change of scene, head across the street to let loose with a dance party at The Sandbar in New Hope, PA from 10pm-2am.
