After dozens of cookies and weeks of caroling, Christmas is here! Whether you are celebrating the holiday or just enjoying a long weekend, there is plenty for you to do in Bucks.  Please take note of the announcement from Bucks County Playhouse if you have purchased tickets for this weekend's shows.  We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

“The  best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” Luckily, Puck in Doylestown & the Sellersville Theater have us covered!  Christy Jefferson takes the stage tonight, December 23rd,  performing an intimate holiday show on Puck’s heated patio. The best part is, admission is FREE for all ages until 9 PM.  At 8pm tonight, the British Blues Band, Savoy Brown, kicks off the night Sellersville Theater. One of the earliest of British blues bands, Savoy Brown helped launch the UK blues-rock movement that paved the way for such acts as Led Zeppelin. Their classic records “I'm Tired” & “Run to Me” became radio staples while “Tell Mama” & their funky re-make of the Motown classic, “I Can't Get Next To You” took the band to platinum status placing them in front of wildly enthusiastic rock audiences worldwide.

Stop by  the “Home for the Holidays” exhibit this weekend at Lambertville Artists' Gallery.   The 18 member artists of Lambertville's Artists' Gallery invite everyone to celebrate the 2010 holiday season with them at their group show entitled “Home for the Holidays”, honoring the spirit of home. In addition to original art in a variety of media, they are offering unique prints, cards, calendars, and hand-made ornaments. Gallery hours: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and at other times by appointment.

NOTICE TO ANYONE WHO PURCHASED TICKETS TO THE FINAL “A CHRISTMAS CAROL” PERFORMANCES AT BUCKS COUNTY PLAYHOUSE:  The final 2 shows have been cancelled due to the building being locked. According to a press release from the Playhouse, Stonebridge Bank of West Chester, Pa refuses to allow the final show because of the scheduled tributes to Ralph Miller and his long time staff.
