Start celebrating the weekend early by stopping in at Joe Canal's in either Lawrenceville or Woodbridge for complimentary beer tastings.  Lawrenceville will be pouring Shock Top Pumpkin from 6pm to 8pm and Woodbridge will pour Magic Hat from 5pm to 7pm.

Enjoy the last bits of warm weather at the Tasty Thursdays' Carribean Outdoor Rum Dinner at Earls Bucks County at 7pm.  Carribean faire, music and fun to say goodbye to summer and welcome the fall in Peddler's Village! Check out the menu.

All weekend long, it's the Phillips' Mill 82nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition in New Hope.  It's the first and most continuous venue for exhibiting the work of artists from the Delaware Valley. It features the works of artists living within a 25 mile radius of Phillips’ Mill. Art includes oils, watercolors, prints, mixed media, drawings and sculpture. Modern and abstract works hang along side representational and traditional styles. This is an excellent opportunity to view as well as purchase the works of this areas very best artists.  Cost is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for students.

Grab your furry friend and head over to the Dog Daddy Festival at Solebury Highschool on Saturday, October 1 from 10am – 5pm.  There will be a DJ, food, vendors, hayrides, speakers, live entertainment, and best of all, it's a fundraiser for the health and well being of dogs. Plus, dress up your pop for the Halloween costume contest with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes in 4 categories- Original,scariest,funniest and cutest.

Couldn't make it to Germany this year? Well, Oktoberfest is coming to Bucks. On Saturday, Triumph Brewery in New Hope will hold it's 9th annual celebration from 1pm to 5pm, featuring German beers, food, music, and activities for the kids.  Although thought of as a day for drinking beer, Oktoberfest at Triumph is very family friendly. Triumph is offering many kid’s activities from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Face painting, fake tattoos, balloon animals, and coloring are available. At 3:00pm there will be a balloon drop in front of the stage for the kids.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Puck is raising awareness with Bucks County Breast Friends on Saturday, October 1st from 7pm to 9pm. Support Breast Cancer Awareness with: Fooling April, Parsnip Revolt, & Dick Tracey.
