On the morning of Saturday, September 10th, join in the free Walking Tour of Historic Doylestown at 11am.  The Doylestown Historical Society presents walking tours through the streets of historic downtown Doylestown. Tour groups are limited to 15 people. For a reservation, please RSVP to DHS Administrator Fletcher Walls at 215-345-9430.  Donations are welcome.

What better way to spend an afternoon than sipping local wines for a great cause? Join Crossing Vineyards, Sandcastle Winery, Rose Bank, and Peace Valley for a festival at Peace Valley Holistic Center in Chalfont from 2pm to 5pm to benefit PVHC Special Needs Children's Services.

Looking for something different this weekend? Saturday night at Puck in Doylestown, This is your Brain on Shamrocks takes the stage. This is your Brain on Shamrocks is a collection of humorous short stories released February 2011 from Mike Farragher, a syndicated rock journalist in the Irish music scene.

On Sunday, head to Pipersville for the Rainbow Ridge Farm Western BBQ, Music Fest and Charity Chili Cook Off, happening Sunday September 11th from 1pm to 9pm. There will be live music all day from 92.5 WXTU, all you can eat BBQ, a Charity Chili Cook Off, Vendors, Silent Auction, Door Prizes, Kids Activities, Country Line Dancing, Moonbounce, Happy Heart Pets Live Reptile Show, and an Old Fashioned Soda Truck. Proceeds will benefit Rainbow Ridge Farm Camps and Therapeutic Riding Center, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization which provides individualized equine related therapeutic activities to children & adults with physical, developmental, social, and emotional disabilities.

Also this Sunday, it's time to Savor New Hope from 6pm to 9pm. Head over to the New Hope Arts Center building for an evening of dinner, wine, & live entertainment.  The price per ticket is $40 in advance or $50 at the door.  There will also be reception for Deux Grande Dames on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to the Eagle Fire Company, New Hope in remembrance of 9/11. The featured exhibition, Deux Grande Dames, will be open to the public that evening for viewing. This exhibition of the art work by Dee Rosenwald and Dorothy Grider, two long-time New Hope residents who are over 90, will be open through the month of September, showcasing the historic art community of New Hope.
