Jam with the Legendary Ladies

An outstanding cast of accomplished tribute artists, Legends in Concert: Legendary Ladies, will pay homage to their iconic musical counterparts at the Event Center at Live! Groove to throwback hits by Aretha Franklin, Cher, Tina Turner, and Whitney Houston, performed by exceptional talent, including Philadelphia’s own Lori Mitchell-Gay staring as Tina Turner. Homesteading 101: Introduction to Canning

When: Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come learn how to preserve summer’s bounty of fruits and vegetables with Peter Wentz Farmstead! We will give a brief history of food preservation and dive into the basics of home canning. Participants will learn about equipment and food safety based on the Ball Blue Book of Canning. Participants will help to pack and process a batch of Dilly Beans. This event is for adults only with a $10 materials fee. Register here

See a play at Bucks County Playhouse

Dive into a story about a small town visited by an outsider who seems to know more about the town’s people than they do themselves, bringing upon twists that make for a thrilling adventure. ALiEN8 is written by David Lee White and Kate Brennan in the styles of “Dear Evan Hansen”, “Be More Chill”, and “Heathers.” Tickets cost $27 for adults and children (18 and under) for $22 and can be purchased here

Fun in the Sun with Fabby-Do

When: Saturday, August 6

Join Miss Fabby-Do for a mid-summer beach-themed bash! Don’t miss out on all the fun such as sand art, floral lei, and pictures with the summer-themed Fabby-Bus photo booth. Ages two to tween are welcome! Parking is available behind the Fabby-Do storefront, but space is limited. Please register online here or in person by Wednesday, August 3. The bash costs $45 per child. 

Wine and Dine with Live Music 

When: Friday, August 5 at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Crossing Vineyards and Winery

Rain or shine, Crossing Vineyards and Winery is hosting a summer wine and music series through September 16. This week, the show features 2nd Vision: Philadelphia’s Premiere Wedding & Dance Band. The cost is $15 per person, booked in advance, and $20 the week of the concert. Bring your lawn chairs to indulge in wine and small bites for purchase, or feel free to bring your own snacks while enjoying a relaxing evening. Tickets can be booked here.

Sculpture Stroll at New Hope Art Center

New Hope Art Center’s contemporary ongoing Outdoor Sculpture Project was started in 2003, featuring regional and national artists. The project is a free and accessible exhibition for all to visit from New Hope and beyond!

Screams for Ice Cream and Biking, All-in-One!

Have you ever wanted to go on an ice cream trail tour of Yardley? This Saturday is your lucky day! FunVentures Tours is cruising with you on the Delaware & Lehigh trail through Yardley for some tasty treats.
