Can you believe this weekend we're already entering into August ? It's been a great summer, and the excitement isn't over yet. There's a lot of fun to be had this weekend in Bucks County. Below is a list of outdoor events taking place, including the 5K Any Way and Color Run, and the Philadelphia Taco Festival. See below for more details on the events. Happy weekend!

Outdoor Aerial Yoga Workshop

When: Sunday, August 1st, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Where: Newtown Athletic Club – 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown, PA

Have you ever wanted to try aerial yoga? This workshop will go over the basic safety, static poses, foot wraps and more. Meet outside at Escape, in the grass next to the basketball court, and find out what it feels like to fly. Reserve your spot on the NAC app. The event is free for members, and guests are welcome with a fee.

Outdoor Nature Walk

When: Saturday, July 31st, 9:00 am
Where: Churchville Nature Center,  Churchville Lane, Churchville, PA

Explore the Churchville Nature Center with a 1.6 mile loop around the the trails. Enjoy views of the Churchville Reservoir. Just a note the trail is not paved so choose the right shoes and join in the walk. This event is organized by the Southampton Free Library and will meet in the parking lot.

5K Any Way & Color Run

When: Sunday, August 1st, 8:00 am
Where: Macclesfield Park, 1000 River Road, Morrisville, PA

The first ever Lower Makefield Township “5K Any Way & Color Fun Run for Accessibility” will be held on Sunday, August 1st. The event is open to runners, walkers and rollers of all abilities and supports Lower Makefield Parks and Recreation to make community parks better accessible for all people. You can participate in the 5K Color Fun Run or 1 Mile Color Fun Run. Kids 5 and under are free with registered adult. Register here.

Concert in the Park

When: Sunday, August 1st, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: Ivyland Commons, 1005 Pennsylvania Avenue, Ivyland, PA

The Warminster Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the Ivyland Commons Park on Sunday at 7 pm. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music. Check the Ivyland Facebook Page for updates. The orchestra will be located in the Ivyland schoolhouse parking lot facing out to the commons. Proceeds from the event go toward the 150th Anniversary Celebration of Ivyland Borough in 2023.

Philadelphia Taco Festival

When: Sat. & Sun., July 31 – August 1
Where: Xfinity Live!, 1100 Pattison Ave., Philadelphia, PA

One of the most anticipated food and entertainment festivals of the year is this weekend at Xfinity Live! in Philly. There will be a variety of tacos, margaritas, games and taco-themed fun with live bands, authentic Mariachi music and other entertainment. Over 75 varieties of tacos will be available for $3 each, featuring 20 of Philadelphia's best restaurants and food trucks. Other food items such as Mexican corn, churros, tamales, nachos and more will be available. Get your tickets here.

Yoga by the Pond

When: Sunday, August 1st, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where: The Shops at Valley Square, Route 611 & Street Road, Warrington, PA

Join in on Yoga by the Pond on Sunday morning at the Shops at Valley Square. Bring your yoga mat, sunscreen and water and meet at the pond (across from The Lucky Well). This is a FREE outdoor event, weather permitting. Be sure to check the Facebook page the morning of for any changes or cancellations.
