Another weekend full of fun events has arrived. Grab your Halloween costume and check out The Count's Spooktacular at Sesame Place or enjoy local brews at Newtown Brewing Company's Oktoberfest. Whatever you choose to do this weekend, you're bound to have lots of fun!

Variety Fall Fest

When: Saturday, October 9th, 11 am – 2 pm
Where: 2950 Potshop Road, Worcester, PA

On Saturday, October 9th, Variety – the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley will hold its annual Fall Fest on its 77-acre campus in Worcester, PA. Kids can enjoy pumpkin picking and decorating, sensory friendly trick-or-treating, Halloween characters story time and a pop up dance party. Plus, there will be BBQ, hayrides, live music, raffles, vendors and more. Children of all abilities are invited to participate in these activities. Children are free and adults are asked to make a $25 donation. Tickets can be purchased here or at the event.

Historic Fallsington Day 2021

When: Saturday, October 9th, 10 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Historic Fallsington, 4 Yardley Avenue, Fallsington, PA

This free community event will include something for everyone with many family-friendly activities, including live music, historical demonstrations, artists, crafters and participation from many community partners.

Skate Competition

When: Saturday, October 9th, 1 pm – 3 pm
Where: Doylestown YMCA, 2500 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA

Join a skate competition in Doylestown this Saturday. The contest is for all ages and there are three levels to compete in – beginner, intermediate or advanced. Entry is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Register here.

The Count's Spooktacular – Sesame Place

When: Select dates through November 7th
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA

Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count's Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests will enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, participating in our interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone's favorite furry friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats.

Travelin' McCourys

When: Saturday, October 9th, 7:30 pm
Where: Zlock Performing Arts Center, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA

The McCoury brothers – Ronnie (mandolin) and Rob (banjo), were born into the bluegrass tradition. Talk about a source abundant and pure; their father, Del, is among the most influential and successful musicians in the history of the genre. Years on the road with Dad in Del McCoury Band honed their knife-edge chops and encouraged the duo to imagine pathways into 21st century music.

Oktoberfest at Newtown Brewing

When: Friday, October 8th, 3 pm – 11 pm
Where: Newtown Brewing Company, 103 Penns Trail, Newtown, PA

Come celebrate Oktoberfest with Newtown Brewing Co. There will be drink specials, live music, German food, soft pretzels, German beer and feats of strength. Food will be available from On a Rolling-Kitchen from 4 pm – 8 pm and there will be music by Matt Kresge from 6 pm – 9 pm.

Fall Sips Festival – Newtown Athletic Club

When: Friday Nights in October 5:30-10:30 pm
Where: 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown, PA

Enjoy crisp fall nights in October at Newtown Athletic Club's Fall Sips Festival. Every Friday night, the whole family is invited to a free event open to the community. Local breweries and food vendors will be on site with live music, field games, fire pits and kid-friendly activities each week. There will be fall sips & drink specials at the adult pool (ages 21+). Bring your own chair for the bonfire lounge area.
