The saying goes that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. However, unlike the weather, the entertainment in Bucks County does not settle down one bit as we continue throughout March. With Pennsylvania celebrating a birthday and St. Patrick’s Day just days away, there is plenty to do this weekend in Bucks County.  Check out some of our picks below, see more on Bucks Local News, and consult our calendar & restaurant guide for more goodies.

The annual Spring event celebrates the ‘beauty and bounty of Bucks County’ while raising funds to benefit the Ys Financial Assistance program to provide kids and families with opportunities for development and growth that they may not be able to otherwise afford. The event includes dinner, entertainment, dancing, silent and live auctions, and more.

The Pennsbury Manor welcomes one and all to celebrate the birthday of Pennsylvania free of charge on Sunday, March 13th. Spend the afternoon with William Penn and the people of Penn's time, enjoying the sights and sounds of 17th-century daily life. Colonial craftspeople, dressed in period clothing, will be demonstrating blacksmithing, joinery, and chair caning. A wonderful display of 17th-century foods will be offered by the cooks who will be on hand to explain the process of open hearth cooking. During the Charter Day event, Pennsbury Manor will be holding a food drive to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group's Penndel Food Pantry, and admission is free of charge with a donated canned good.
