Southampton Days

Events provide fun for the whole family. Games, rides and entertainment for small children. Rides and entertainment for teens. Bands for teens and adults along with food, crafts, children’s games and bingo for everyone. The event is organized so that other community organizations can raise funds and advertise their services. By providing our community organizations the opportunity to promote their organization, everyone in our community can benefit.

July 4th in Washington Crossing
Bowman's Hill Tower, Thompason Neely House, Lower Park, Washington Crossing
11:00am – 3:00pm

Join the Friends of Washington Crossing Park and PHMC to celebrate American Independence. Re-enactors will be onsite to provide a window into the past. Learn how patriots lived during the American Revolution, as well as the types of military exercises conducted at this time. There will be several commemorative musket volleys fired throughout the day by Glover’s 14th Continental Regiment. Also, there will be three readings of the Declaration of Independence from the steps of McKonkey’s Ferry Inn.

Summer Wine Concert Series
The Market at DelVal, 2100 Lower State Rd, Doylestown
6:00pm – 9:00pm

Celebrate summer with music by Cherry Lane and wine tasting by Rose Bank Winery! Admission is free, wine is sold by the glass or bottle. Don't forget to stop in The Market for some great accompaniments to your wine.

Really Rosie
Bucks County Playhouse, 70 S. Main St, New Hope

Really Rosie is a production for audiences of all ages with book and lyrics by Maurice Sendak and music by Carole King. Rosie, the sassiest kid on her block of Brooklyn's Avenue P, entertains herself and her friends by acting out show biz fantasies. Written by the author and illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are and other popular children's books, Really Rosie is a jewel for children and adults.

5th Annual Run Over Cancer
Council Rock South High School, 2002 Rock Way, Holland
7:30pm

Help Run Over Cancer surpass their goal of $30,000 to fight pancreatic cancer! Pre-registration is $30 if done before July 1st. Day of race is $40. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 registrants. $20 registration fee for the 1/4 mile Kids’ Race, which is for children 12 years old and younger.

Summer Gala Concerts
Delaware Valley College (Moumgis Auditorium), 700 E. Butler Ave, Doylestown
8:00pm

Check out the Chamber Music Concert featuring top musicians from New York's Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Mostly Mozart and the Philadelphia Orchestra with internationally known pianist Marcantonio Barone.Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $5 for children. Tickets will be available at the door.

Pennridge Community Day
Lenape Park, Rt 152, Perkasie
12:00pm – 6:00pm (rain date: July 14th)

Celebrate the 4th of July weekend right with the 41st annual Pennridge Community Day! The day will start with the flag raising the opening ceremony. Attendees can expect food concessions, vendors, games, a patriotic concert and fireworks!
