Shady Brook Farm 25th Annual Light Show

When: Nightly through January 5
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

Every year, more than 3 million lights illuminate in Bucks County to create a stunning display of holiday cheer. Stop by for a 20-minute drive through this Bucks County holiday staple, open 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. This year, there’s also a FREE walk-through section of lights!

Holiday Lights and Gingerbread Display at Peddler's Village

When: Now through January 5
Where: Routes 202 and 263, Lahaska, PA

If you haven’t gone yet, now’s the time to visit Peddler’s Village! The lights are still lit, and the gingerbread creations are still on display.

Sesame Place’s A Very Furry Christmas

When: Now through January 1
Where: 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

Now’s your last chance to visit Sesame Place until the spring! Join your favorite Sesame Street friends in a family-friendly celebration of everything holiday! The park is transformed into a one-of-a-kind Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights and festive decorations all around.

Holiday Trees and Hanukkah Lights at the Visitor Center

When: Now through January 4
Where: 3207 Street Road, Bensalem

Don’t miss Holiday Trees at the Visitor Center, a beautifully decorated display of trees. Plus, Bucks County artist Jill Tarabar is presenting her one woman display of stained glass menorahs this holiday season.

Ebenezer Scrooge's Big Playhouse Christmas Show (Bucks County Playhouse)

When: Thursday, December 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, December 27 and 28 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday, December 28 at 2 p.m.
Where: 70 S. Main Street, New Hope

It the final weekend of the popular “Ebenezer Scrooge’s Big Playhouse Christmas Show.” Five quick-changing actors play dozens of roles in this fast, funny and highly theatrical reimagining of one of the most beloved holiday stories ever told. Terrorizing the good citizens of Bucks County, Ebenezer Scrooge’s rediscovery of the Spirit Christmas comes in this riotous Dickens’ mashup set in New Hope. Get tickets here.

Slime Time! At Lighthouse Workshops & BookTique

When: Friday, December 27 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 176 York Road, Warminster

Christmas is over and the kids are home! Bring them to slime time! During this hour, kids 5 and up will make slime from scratch and bring home their work of art in a spill proof container. Space is limited so register now to secure your seat(s)! Registration is required to attend. $8 fee will cover all materials and tools needed to make slime!

Family Holiday Movies at The County Theater

When: Saturday, December 28 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: 20 E. State Street, Doylestown

Festival of Fire & Ice at Moss Mill Brewing Company

When: Saturday, December 28 from noon to 11 p.m.
Where: 109 Pike Circle, Huntingdon Valley

It's the second annual Fire & Ice Fest with ice carving all day, followed by Quizzo in the evening. Look for food from Chuck's BBQ and Chilin and dessert from Waffles Philly.

Silver Lake Nature Center Wilderness Survival Series: Map & Compass in the Woods

When: Saturday, December 28 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: 1306 Bath Road, Bristol

The arts of map-reading and compass-use are very useful tools when exploring the wilds of Pennsylvania. Use of GPS on cell phones may give many people false confidence. Stems and Seeds LITE at Shady Brook Farm

When: Saturday, December 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

Stems and Seeds LITE will be performing in the greenhouse at Shady Brook Farm! Grab a bite to eat from the Farmer’s Market, or get a drink at The Stone’s Throw. You can also take a drive through the Light Show while you’re there!

Naughty or Nice Party at Continental Tavern

When: Saturday, December 28 from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Where: 2 N. Main Street, Yardley

It doesn't matter if you've been naughty or nice … you can still party at Continental Tavern! Music by DJ Anthony Pasqua.
