Home Depot Kids Workshop: Heart String Art

Home Depot is hosting free Kids Workshops where kiddos will create and bring home heart string art. They will get to sand, nail, apply stickers and more. Then, they'll receive a certificate of achievement, a Workshop apron, and a commemorative pin. RSVP by visiting the Home Depot website and finding the store nearest to you.

Bucks County Community College Kids on Campus Open House

When: Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Bucks Newtown Campus, Gallagher Room in the Rollins Center, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown

Kids on Campus – Bucks County Community College’s popular day camps for children ages 5 to 14 and over – invites the public to an open house. Instructors and camp leaders will demonstrate many of the activities and opportunities available this summer. Parents and children can meet instructors and camp leaders, sample activities, have questions answered and enjoy free donuts and coffee. Find out more here.

Nature Center Adventures at Churchville Nature Center

When: Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: 501 Churchville Lane, Churchville

Join longtime educator Irene for a series of adventures at Churchville Nature Center! Each session includes meeting one of the live critters, a trail adventure (weather permitting), games, stories, a craft to take home, and other fun activities. This class is for children ages 5 through 9 and costs $15 per session. Older siblings and accompanying adults are welcome to join in. Call 267-880-5037 to register.

Tower Tours of Fonthill Castle

When: Saturday, February 1 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
Where: 525 E. Court Street, Doylestown

During these hour-long tours, guests explore Henry Mercer’s home from basement to tower and learn more about Mercer’s creative ideas through stories and illustrated prints. These special behind-the-scenes tours offer access to areas not seen on daily tours. Please note there are steep stairs and narrow, uneven passageways at this historic site. Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $10 for Members.

Groundhog Storytime at the Perkasie Library

When: Saturday, February 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Will he see his shadow?! Celebrate Groundhog Day with a special storytime featuring books, songs and crafts. Best for ages 3-5.

2^nd Annual “Souper” Bowl at Southampton Free Library

Pre-Game Party at Crossing Vineyards
