Irish Festival Preview at Green Parrot

When: Thursday, March 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, March 6 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, March 7 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: 240 N. Sycamore Street, Newtown

Green Parrot is giving a little preview of the following weekend's festivities with live Irish music Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Family Fun Friday at Neshaminy Mall

When: Friday, March 6 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem

This month’s theme is “Wacky Science” with a science show presented by Mad Science. The show will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Barnes & Noble Court. There will also be a 5:30 performance by Riley’s Irish Dance, moonbounces, a free craft, balloon art, face painting, and characters. Plus, you can shop vendors such as Mary Kay, Thirty-One, Tastefully Simple, Color Street, Usbourne Books and more.

Dye-ing for Wine at Chaddsford Winery’s Wine Shop & Tasting Room

When: Friday, March 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Peddler’s Village, Lahaska

Brilliantly Resilient LIVE! Event

When: Saturday, March 7 from 8:30 a.m. to noon
Where: Cornerstone Club, 847 Easton Road, Warrington

Paper Bag Princess Day

Come celebrate the 40th anniversary of  “The Paper Bag Princess” by Robert Munsch! Listen to the story, and do a craft afterwards. Come in costume if you’d like. No registration required.

Bucks County Wedding Show

When: Sunday, March 8 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Delaware Valley University, 700 E. Butler Avenue, Doylestown

Calling all Brides! Learn more about some of the area’s best vendors and venues, all under one roof. Enjoy food and beverage tastings along with several DIY and entertainment sessions and a fashion showcase. Admission is free. Register here.

Charter Day at Pennsbury Manor

When: Sunday, March 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville

The Manor begins 2020 with a free celebration of Pennsylvania's 339th birthday. The public is invited to experience the sights and sounds of 17th-century Pennsylvania life, including spending the afternoon at Penn’s home and experiencing colonial demonstrations like hearth cooking, blacksmithing and beer brewing. Children can learn to write with a quill pen, play with 17th century toys and games, and even spend time with William Penn and some of the early settlers! Pennsbury Manor will also be holding a food drive to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group’s Penndel Food Pantry. Please consider donating a non-perishable item to help families in your community. This event is a great way to shake off those winter blues and step into what is sure to be a lovely spring!

Super Science Day Hosted by Newtown Parks & Recreation

When: Sunday, March 8 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown

Discover the World of Science Around You. Super Science Sunday is a FREE event sponsored by Newtown Business Commons Association. Activities will include engineering rocket building, chemical experiments with slime and ooze, computer and robotics experiments and exploring the prehistoric world and the skies and outer space with Engineering for Kids, Mad Science, STEM STARS, and more.
