It's Thanksgiving Week! Are you looking for some fun ways to celebrate over the long weekend with your family? Here are our picks for local events to officially kick off the holiday season.

Barnyard Animals at Bucks County Gardens Ltd.

When: Tuesday, November 24 through Sunday, December 13
Where: 1057 N. Easton Road, Doylestown

Visit Bucks County Gardens' Covered Atrium surrounded by fresh cut Christmas trees and you'll find animals eager to greet you! There will be goats, sheep, a cow and a llama.

Gingerbread House Display and Lights at Peddler's Village 

When: Now through January 9
Where: Street Road and Route 263, Lahaska

The lights are on at Peddler's Village! Walk around, do some shopping and check out the Gingerbread House Display.

Holiday Drive-In Movie Spectacular at Snipes Farm

When: Select dates leading up to Christmas. Movies will start at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Where: 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville

This is a first of its kind immersive holiday experience created with Mid Atlantic Event Group and Snipes Farm. Come watch holiday favorite movies on a 50-foot screen as a Winter Wonderland and Holiday Lights surround you! Tickets are $40 per car and go on sale now. They're going quickly, so check ASAP for available events! Peddler's Village Family Mystery Walking Tours: Elf on the Stealth:

When: Friday, November 27 – Sunday, November 29. Fridays at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Saturdays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays on the hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Street Road and Route 263, Lahaska

It's almost Christmas, and the Elf on the Shelf is missing! Join Mrs. Claus at the “North Pole” for a walking tour and help solve the mystery of the missing Elf on the Shelf. Tickets are $25 per person. It does not include dinner, but you can enjoy dinner before or after the show and receive a 10% discount at select restaurants by showing your receipt. 20 people per tour. Shady Brook 2020 Holiday Light Show, Santa Visits and Holiday Gift Shoppe

When: Friday, November 27 through December 23 (Light Show continues until January 10)
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

Shady Brook Farm's spectacular Holiday Light Show is a Bucks County tradition featuring more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland. Encounter whimsical displays and familiar characters as your drive through in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show on an open-air wagon ride (weather permitting.)

NOTE: This year, you will need to purchased TIMED tickets! Timed tickets will be available soon HERE.

In addition to the Light Show, you can also come out to the Festival Field to shop for your live Christmas tree, find a special gift at the Holiday Gift Shoppe, or visit with Santa! Santa will be in an all-new heated Santa House, visiting with just one family at a time, and taking socially distant photos.
