September is here, and we're seeing the first batch of fall activities in Bucks County! Scarecrows, pumpkin patches, apple picking, comedy, music, wine and more! Scarecrow Season at Peddler's Village

When: September 9 – October 31
Where: 2400 Street Road, New Hope

Peddler's Village is kicking off its 41st Annual Scarecrow Season with a property-wide display of scarecrows created by individuals and local businesses and organizations. While the traditional Festival is cancelled due to the pandemic, they will sill be hosting scarecrow-making workshops designed with safety in mind on Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13 as well as Saturday, September 19 and 26. 9/11 Memorial Ceremony hosted by New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company

When: Friday, September 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Where: 46 N. Sugan Road, New Hope

Each year, members of the Eagle Fire Company have a memorial service honoring those we lost on September 11, 2001. The event is in the parking lot of the fire company and is open to everyone. Please wear a mask if you are attending.

FallFest at Shady Brook Farm

When: Starting Friday, September 11 at 9 a.m. (Open Wednesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

Shady Brook Farm is kicking off the season with their 2020 version of FallFest! They're going back to basics with loads of old fashioned family fun: wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, apple picking in the apple orchard, and pick your own sunflowers + a sunflower stroll. The kids can cruise around their re-designed SBF 500 Tryke Track, play on the playground, Giant Jumping Pillow, Spider Web, & explore the huge Corn Maze. All included in the price of admission. They also have Gem Mining for an extra fee. Timed tickets must be purchased in advance.

Pedestrian Zones in Doylestown

When: Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: North Main Street between State and Court Streets, Doylestown

A portion of N. Main Street will be closed for enhanced shopping and dining. By opening up the roads, businesses are able to expand their offerings with outdoor searing and shopping opportunities increased. Temporary detours will be in place and there will be free parking in the County Parking Garage at the corner of Broad and Union Streets.

Drive In Movie – Jumanji: The Next Level Presented by Mid Atlantic Event Group

When: Friday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Way, Warminster

This event was rescheduled from August 28 due to weather. Enjoy the movie on the big screen, from the comfort of your car! Tickets are $25 per car. You can also purchase Best Darn Kettlecorn, too. Purchases must be made in advance online HERE.

Final Summer Wine & Music Concert at Crossing Vineyards

When: Friday, September 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1853 Wrightstown Road, Newtown

If you missed the first concert (or you loved them so much you want to see them again), come out to see a performance by The Fabulous Greaseband! Wine, beer, Crossing “Crushies” and light bites available for purchase. No outside beverages are permitted (BYO food is allowed for concerts). Bring a lawn chair. Advance ticket purchase suggested. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate.

Comedy Under the Stars at Peddler's Village

When: Friday, September 11 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Where: Red Barn Field, Peddler's Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope

Host Dwayne Dunlevy, Gina DiMaggio and headliner Frank Vignola take the stage under the stars. Bring your own food, chairs, or picnic blankets. The audience will be divided into circles, which are distanced 6 feet apart. Once circle holds up to 2 people and can be purchased for $35. Masks are required when you're not in your circle. 2020 Virtual Doylestown Arts Festival

When: Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Your Home

Falls Township Car Show

When: Saturday, September 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 9050 Mills Creek Road, Levittown

This year's annual Family Day event has been cancelled, but the Car Show portion is still on! Registration will be $15 on the day of the show if you'd like to participate.

Richboro September Cruise & Chill

When: Sunday, September 13 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, 922 2nd Street Pike, Richboro

Enjoy cars, ice cream and pizza with friends and family! This is a free event. No ticket/registration necessary.
