PumpkinFest at Shady Brook Farm

When: September 28-October 1, then daily from October 4 through Halloween; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

The entire family will love spending the day at Shady Brook Farm. Take a tractor ride to pick pumpkins, get lost in the 5-acre corn maze, watch pig races and more. Listen to live music while enjoying snacks and lunch from the many vendors. And parents should visit the Beer Garden for locally brewed craft beer and Rose Bank Winery wines. New this year, there will also be a bloody Mary bar on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shady Brook Farm offers activities such as rubber ducky races, pedal go-carts, jumping pillows, inflatables and a new adventure course included in the $17 ticket price. (Children under 2 are free.) Additional attractions including pony rides, corn cannons, paint ball and truck & monster hearse rides cost extra.

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres

When: Weekends starting September 28 through October, Friday through Sunday (plus Thursday, October 24)
Where: Sleepy Hollow, 881 Highland Road, Newtown

Sleepy Hollow features three attractions: The House in the Hollow, Field of Fright, and the Sleepy Hollow Hayride. There are also bonfires, live music and refreshments available. Tickets range from $16 for one attraction to $33 for all of the attractions.

Valley of Fear & Haunted Hayride

When: September 27-29, October 4-5, October 11-13, October 17-20, October 24-27 and November 1-2
Where: 301 W. Bristol Rd., Feasterville

Valley of Fear is celebrating 30 years in 2019! The four main attractions are a haunted hayride, ScaryTales (haunted forest walk), Miles Manor (haunted house), and Operation Z Escape (a zombie escape room combined with paintball.) You can also download the FearApp ($4) to enhance the terror experience. Admission prices vary, see site for details.

Annual Hulmeville Flea Market

When: Saturday, September 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hulmeville Historical Society, 321 Main Street, Hulmeville

Come out for the annual town flea market! Be sure to stop by the Firehouse for raffle baskets, bake sales and more.

New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival

When: Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: New Hope – Solebury High School, New Hope, PA

Over 160 fine Artists and Craftsmen will exhibit using media such as oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, wearable art, glass art, photography, and more. (There will also be food and music!)

Northampton Day Festival 2019

When: Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Richboro Middle School, 98 Upper Holland Road, Richboro

This family-friendly festival will feature more than 120 vendors, food trucks, free entertainment, rides and more.

Warrington Community Day 2019

When: Saturday, September 28 from noon to 6 p.m.
Where: John Paul Park, 301 Folly Road, Chalfont

Celebrate the community with a day of entertainment and food that will end with fireworks.

Touch-A-Truck at Historic Bolton Mansion

When: Saturday, September 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 85 Holly Drive, Levittown

Children can explore different vehicles they often see in the community during this hands-on event. There will also be a DJ, children’s activities, food trucks, vendors and more. Admission is free.
