Love Sick at the Playhouse

Is your Valentine an “American Idol” fan? Then head to New Hope, where Doylestown native and American Idol finalist Justin Guarini will present his production “Lovesick” at the Bucks County Playhouse. The show, “a tribute to all the crazy places love has taken him,” features music from Guarini’s nine-piece band.  Tickets start at $25.

Change of Heart to Educate Women on Heart Disease

Winterfest
Holy Family University, 1 Campue Drive, Newtown

Newtown's B.L.A. holds an annual winter festival to celebrate the invigorating, blustery winter season. All members of the local community are invited, along with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bucks County. Geared towards families with children ages 10 and under, the day is filled with wintry activities, arts, crafts, and games. Students with families are welcome and reservations are required.

Twelfth Night
Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St, Newtown

In Elizabethan times, Twelfth night marked the end of Epiphany or the Christmas season with much merrymaking. According to tradition, the world was turned upside down, the normal order was reversed, the impossible became possible. A woman pretends to be a man. Twins each believe the other is dead after a shipwreck. A peasant thinks he can become a nobleman. This showing will include a special discussion following the performance. Rear reserved tickets are $17 while front reserved at $20.

Circus Aerialist Demonstrations
Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine St, Doylestown

Welcome performers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts as they demonstrate feats of acrobatics in the center ring of the Step Right Up! exhibit.
