Chanukah is almost here! In 2012, the Festival of Lights begins in the evening of Saturday, December 8, 2012, and ends in the evening of Sunday, December 16, 2012. Check out some events going on around Bucks County to celebrate the holiday:
Chanukah Candle Lighting
Bristol Jewish Center, 216 Pond St, Bristol
December 8th, 5:00pm
Join the Bristol Jewish Center for Saturday evening services followed by the lighting of their 6 foot Chanukah Menorah. Afterwards, there will be a Pot Luck Dinner and more Chanukah activities. Chanukah Parade and Celebration
Lubavitch of Bucks County. 25 N. State St, Newtown

March down State Street for the giant outdoor menorah lighting. The parade will be followed up with music, latkas, dreidelmania, refreshments, and crafts for the children.
Menorah Lighting at the Courthouse
Bucks County Courthouse, 55 E. Court St, Doylestown
December 11th, 6:00pm
Join the Lubavitch of Doylestown for the lighting of the Menorah. There will be indoor fun for the whole family, including latkes, dreidels, and a magic show. Admission is free.
Chanukah Glow in the Dark
McCaffrey's Family Supermarket, 635 Heacock Rd, Yardley
December 11th, 5:30pm
Come help build and light the largest glow in the dark menorah! Other activities include decorating your own donut, pressing your own olive oil for the menorah, crafts for the kids, and food. Admission is free.
New Hope's Chanukah Service and Menorah Lighting

Kehilat HaNahar’s Annual Chanukah Gathering is Wednesday, December 12th 7:00 PM. We will be lighting the menorahs and hearing the delightful sounds of Princeton’s Jewish A Capella group, Koleinu.
Grand Chanukah Celebration
Bucks County Courthouse, 55 E. Court St, Doylestown
December 13th, 6:30pm
