Spend this weekend in the heart of Doylestown enjoying a free festival with tons of things to see and do, and we mean tons! September 11th & 12th from 10am-5pm, the streets of Doylestown will turn into a festival where you can experience the work of more than 150 exhibitors. Also, you can take part in the Extreme Scavenger Hunt, which takes place both days. We promise, it won't be like any scavenger hunt you've seen before. But that's not all, you can also watch the Univest Bike Race on Sunday! What more could you want?
Doylestown Arts Festival has a list of exhibitors that include food, jewelry, clothes, pottery, photography, murals and even fun for the kids. Literally the streets of Doylestown will be shut down so everyone can walk the streets and enjoy the festival. Mainly the festival takes place on State & Main Streets along with West Oakland and Hamilton Streets.
While you tour the festival you will be listening to sounds of local artists on four different stages. Some of the music will include Irish blues, punk rock, jazz fusion, and indie rock. So, you can check out exhibitors, listen to great music and watch the bike race!
But wait, there's more! There is a scarecrow making tent on Sunday! That's right, you and your family can really jump into fall by making a perfect scarecrow for your front yard. And, of course, it's free! Just bring some old clothes to dress the scarecrow. This will take place 10am-5pm in the Pine Street parking lot.
If you decide to attend the festival (which you should), parking will be available at the courthouse for free.
