June has begun and it's starting to really feel like summer. There are some fantastic events taking place around Bucks County this weekend that the whole crew will enjoy. Check out this weekend happenings below and kick off the season with some family fun.

Dinosaurs in Philadelphia

Dino Stroll

When: Saturday, June 5 – Sunday, June 6
Where: Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave, Philadelphia, PA

Get up close with a T-Rex and Velociraptor and take a walk through history with over 70 life-like creatures, reptiles and life-size dinosaurs. With most standing over 25 feet tall and spanning over 60 feet long, experience what it felt like when the world’s largest creatures roamed the earth! Dino Stroll will be the most realistic tour back into history with animatronic dinosaurs that are created with moving heads, necks, tails, wings, eyes blinking, mouths that open and close, synchronized sounds, spraying water, and many more exquisite details that bring them to life.

Guests will become paleontologists and be able to explore and study skeletons, fossils and dinosaur eggs, even while climbing inside of them for photo opportunities. Rock Through the Ages

The Conservatory

Where: The Conservatory, 4059 Skyron Drive, Doylestown, PA

Fishing Derby

Tyler State Park

When: Saturday, June 5th, 8:00am – 11:00am
Where: Tyler State Park, near Boathouse, Newtown, PA

The Fishing Derby is taking place this Saturday at Tyler State Park for children up to age 15. All you need is a fishing pole and a bucket, no experience required. Each child will receive an official fishing derby kit, cups of bait, soda and a soft pretzel. A license-free day for children up to age 15. There will be awards for each age category. Expert fishermen from Langhorne Rod Club will be present to provide great tips. Adults may provide assistance, however a fishing license is required for any adult wishing to fish for themselves. Covered Bridge Day

Covered Bridge Park

When: Saturday, June 5th, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: 229 Keeley Ave, New Britain, PA

This Saturday, celebrate Covered Bridge Day at the Covered Bridge Park in New Britain. In the morning there will be a fishing contents, followed by performances by Fitzpatrick Irish Dancers and Action Karate, live music from The School of Rock and plenty of food trucks.

Family Circus Event

Quakertown Farmers Market

When: Saturday, June 5th, 12:00pm
Where: 201 Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951

Quakertown Farmers Market is receiving a special showing of the circus this weekend. It will be an intimate seating show instead of the typical Drive In. No cars in the show lot this time! Bring your lawn chairs or a beach blanket and get ready to sit up close to the show (socially distanced of course). Qmart has some great food vendors, so come early and hungry and grab a great lunch or snacks!!! You can expect a high flying aerial and acrobatic show, all performed to great music. Friday Night Live Music

Escape Resort – NAC

The live music summer series, Friday Night Live, is coming back to Escape on Friday, June 4th! Grab your family and friends and get ready to celebrate summer, with a poolside live performance from The Kirko Band! The event is open the community. Live music is from 6-10 pm with dinner and drink specials. Childcare is available.

Goat Yoga

Hellerick's Family Farm

When: Saturday, June 5th, 10:00am

Join Storm Yoga and Dance Studio, along with the goats at Hellerick's Family Farm for a little yoga and a lot of fun. Goat yoga will not only improve your physical and mental health, but it's a fun way to connect with the world around you and do it with your family and friends. Sign up is required here. Bring your own towel and wear a t-shirt that can get dirty.

Summer UnWINEd

Shady Brook Farm

Where:931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA

Head to the festival field at Shady Brook Farm on Friday nights all summer long. There will be live music, activities for the kids, lawn games, food, drinks and fun. There is something for everyone. No outside food or drinks are permitted. There are three beer gardens and plenty of wonderful food and beverage vendors throughout the festival field.
