Don't forget- if you're taking dad out to eat this year, make sure to use our restaurant guide to find the perfect place. Does he love eating outside? Or perhaps craves BBQ? You can sort by location, price, cuisine, and other features on the Bucks Happening Restaurant Guide.
Now, what will you be doing to work up that appetite? Check out our recommendations:

2. Father's Day at Crayola Factory in Easton: Just North of Bucks County is one of the most colorful day trips you can take! All weekend long at the Crayola factor, dads get in for free with child’s paid admission. Saturday 9:30am – 5pm & Sunday 11am – 5pm
3. Ale Aboard! Father's Day~Beer Tasting Train in New Hope/Ivyland: During this 45 minute journey through scenic Bucks County passengers will experience a variety of ales, lagers, seasonal, micro & craft brews from around the globe. Also included in your ticket fare is seating in our vintage baggage car,a Brew Master's Platter, complete with bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzel rivets with spicy brown mustard dipping sauce, smoked cheeses, bbq dip with chips & assorted nuts. *Passengers must be 21 years of age or older to enjoy this event

5. Disc Golf/Mini Golf: Go beyond the traditional! Depending on your family, choose from a variety of golf courses, par 3's, mini-golf courses, and even Disc Golf (played with Frisbees!). Makefield Highlands in Lower Makefield offers a great driving range and public course. For mini-golf, try Golf Adventure in Fairless Hills or my personal favorite, Nifty Fifty's in Feasterville. Tyler, Tinicum, and Nockamixon Park all offer Disc Golf.
6. Rock Out with Dad: Does dad have great taste in music? Take him to one of the two Father's Day Gin Blossoms shows at Sellersville Theater or “An Evening With Robin Trower” on at 8pm, Sunday June 19th at Havana in New Hope.
7. Embrace your inner-history buff– Why not learn something while you're at it? There are so many ways to explore history and culture in Bucks County. Visit Craven Hall and the new John Fitch Steamboat Museum in Warminster, Mercer Museum in Doylestown, and the beautiful Washington Crossing Park with the Thomas Neely House. If it's a nice day, take a stroll along the canal or climb to the top of Bowman's Tower!
