33rd Annual Revolutionary Run

Participate in the 1 mile fun run, or 5k or 10k scenic run. Pre-registration is required. Volunteers will be available for questions and course directions. It will be a fun day for all!
2nd Annual Fourth of July Parade
Veterans Memorial Park, 700 Veterans Highway, Levittown

The opening ceremony includes a 21-gun salute to start the parade, which then continues along Trenton Road and ends at Twin Oaks Park. The parade are Barracks Fife & Drum Corp, the Tri-County Band, and the Polish American String Band.
Friday Night Fireworks

Friday Night Fireworks display of the wonderful Delaware River every night from Memorial Day weekend until the end of August. Orchestrated by Garden State Fireworks, a glittering ten-minute firework show will illuminate the sky over the Delaware River for the summer season. In addition, most retail businesses on both sides of the river will stay open late.
Newtown's First Fourth

First Fourth is an annual community event that is run by volunteers. This year’s event will feature a parade through Newtown, a baseball game between township and borough employees, a Colonial encampment at the Newtown Middle School with members of the Crossing Community Church offering cooking demos and cannons. There will also be a fireworks display sponsored by the Newtown Athletic Club.

Help Run Over Cancer surpass their goal of $30,000 to fight pancreatic cancer! Pre-registration is $30 if done before July 1st. Day of race is $40. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 registrants. $20 registration fee for the 1/4 mile Kids' Race, which is for children 12 years old and younger.

Fonthill's Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

Enjoy a day of family fun, food, games, crafts, entertainment and live music, with the visual splendor of Henry Mercer’s estate as the backdrop. Join in the watermelon eating contests, sack races, tug-o-war, bucket brigade relays, town ball (19th century baseball) and the popular cakewalk. You can also sit back and enjoy some stirring good old-fashioned patriotic music or participate in a craft activity. There will be a selection of vendors offering a variety of summer time snacks and treats, or you may bring your own picnic and spread a blanket on Fonthill’s grounds. Fonthill Castle will also be open for self-guided tours. The event kicks off with the spectacular Children's Decorated Bike Parade at 12:30 pm. Heavy rain cancels the event. No dogs are allowed on the grounds.

Join us in kicking off the 4th of July Holiday, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Tinicum Park along the Delaware River in Erwinna, PA for an evening of fun and music. Bring a picnic, bring your family, bring your friends…and find out why the Concert Under the Stars has become such a favorite Bucks County tradition! Gates open at 6:00 PM for picnic suppers. The Concert begins at 8 PM.
Quakertown Community Day

The borough’s Community Day begins at 8 a.m. on July 4th with a pancake breakfast and continues throughout the day. An amateur talent show will be held from 1:45 to 2:45 at Memorial Park on Mill Street. Other events include a car and truck show for stock and modified vehicles, games, food, music and entertainment, bingo, fire company water battles and baseball. Admission: free. A fireworks display will take place at 9:30 p.m. in the park.
