Bucks County is known for having some pretty dangerous roads and intersections. If you’ve ever navigated the many intersections of Street Road during rush hour, or driven down the windy, wooded back roads of Central and Upper Bucks, you know the potential dangers: distracted drivers, deer, dark roads, etc. No one is more aware of these dangers than Attorney Linda Shick, who has dedicated her whole life to litigating accident cases where people have been hurt through no fault of their own.
Linda is a partner with Naftulin& Shick, a personal injury law firm located right in Doylestown, Bucks County. A graduate of C.B. West High School, she received her JD from Rutgers University School of Law in New Jersey. She’s currently a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Bucks County Bar Association.
Linda represents hundreds of people in Bucks County (and surrounding counties) who are injured due to car collisions, workplace accidents, vicious animals, negligent property owners, construction accidents, and careless truck drivers. She helps victims recover their lives back and get back on their feet in the aftermath.
In October 2010, she was awarded the Pennsylvania Pro Bono Award for going “above and beyond in her pro bono commitment” for her work with Legal Aid of Southeastern PA, Bucks County division. She often represents five or more plaintiffs in protection from abuse cases and makes herself available for hearing dates around the holidays when it can be difficult to schedule attorneys, and is reachable by phone to answer questions from victims and guide them through the legal maze.
“Recovering from an accident consumes every aspect of a victim’s life – financially, physically, and emotionally,” explains Shick. “Their focus should be on getting healthy. Instead, they are often forced to spend time arguing with insurance companies who won’t pay their medical expenses, or fighting to get their car fixed. I’m passionate about advocating for our clients – taking their anxiety away, and getting them the benefits they deserve.”
Linda’s goal is for her clients to be able to return to as normal of a life as possible, post-accident. She can be reached at LindaShick@Naftulin-Shick.com or at 215-348-5455.
