Grease
Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St, Newtown

Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers. They'll evoke the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Tickets for $20 and up.

River Roots Music Festival
Snipes Farm, 882 West Bridge St, Morrisville
5:00pm – 11:00pm (also Saturday, August 10th, 11:00am – 11:00pm)

Help celebrate the singer-songwriters of the Delaware River Valley area. Musicians will perform a variety of music from blues to rock to Americana and more. On Friday, tickets are $10 (purchased in advance) or $15 at the gate. Tickets on Saturday are $15 in advance and $20 day of festival.

Teens Music Night
The Doylestown Bookshop, 16 S. Main St, Doylestown
7:00pm

The Doylestown Bookshop, along with CB Cares Youth 2 Community Art Series will be providing local, talented teens a place to perform in the cafe off the book shop. They will be able to showcase their talents (dramatic, artistic, performance, musical, culinary) to audiences of all ages.

The New Hope Automobile Show
New Hope-Solebury High School, 182 W. Bridge St, New Hope
9:00am – 4:00pm (Also Sunday, August 11th)

The New Hope Auto Show returns once again to the New Hope-Solebury High School. The event is celebrating its 56th year of showing classic and antique cars and motorcycles. The event has become an annual Bucks County tradition – drawing crowds of over 10,000 from all over the southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions and boasting an incredible assortment of rare and classic cars. Tickets are $5 for the general public, $3 for seniors, and free to military and children under 12 years of age. On site parking is available for $5 for a day

Bridging the Delaware: Festival of Lights
Bristol Lions Park, Mill & Radcliffe Sts, Bristol
4:00pm – 10:00pm (Rain date: Sunday, August 11th)

Enjoy Bristol's Waterfront Park with the community for the Festival of Lights. From music to refreshments, there is plenty for all. Don't miss out the decorated boat parade on the Delaware (7:00pm) or the fireworks off Burlington Island (9:00pm).

Howie Day
Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville
8:00pm – 11:00pm

Howie Day's gold album, “Stop All The World Now,” features his mega hit “Collide” and his other familiar favorites such as “You And a Promise,” “Perfect Time Of Day,” “She Says,” and “Be There.” An engaging live performer, Howie is a virtual one man band with his use of samples and effects pedals in concert.

Concerts in the Park
Memorial Park, West Mill Rd, Quakertown

The highlight of the summer season for music lovers of all ages, enjoy the last night of Concerts in the Park with The Quakertown Band. Consider one of America's oldest and most entertaining community bands, enjoy music from overtures, Broadway, big band, swing, and more. So bring a chair and spend some time with your community!
