I don’t know about you, but I have had one hectic holiday season. It’s been so crazy that we never even had to time to get a Christmas tree this year (gasp!). So last night I was feeling the need for some long over-due holiday cheer and decided to check out Shady Brook Farm’s Holiday Light Show. We stopped for some essential hot chocolate and snacks at Wawa, pumped up the B101 holiday tunes, and began our ride.

The first 50 ft includes fun light displays advertising local businesses right before you have one last chance to exit the path before paying. My advice- don’t turn around! I really enjoyed the beautiful light displays and fun themes throughout such as the 12 days of Christmas, fairy tales, & under the sea. Take your time driving through to appreciate all of the brilliant details. My favorite part was a path for a couple hundred feet where every single tree was covered in different colored lights; the rainbow of colors is absolutely stunning to drive through. The entire ride is about 15 minutes & they charge $20 per car load for entry. Get your money’s worth & load them in there! I love that you can enjoy the entire event from the warmth of your car, but if you decide to brave the cold, can stop in at Shady Brook’s market for some goodies after the ride.

Tip: Local hot chocolate spots: Dunkin Donuts off 332, Wawa in Yardley, & Starbucks in Yardley
