There's a new summer menu not to be missed at Southampton's favorite spot- Steam Pub. Chock full of seasonal items including the Watermelon Salad  made with sweet watermelon, feta, olives, & mint is already a guest favorite, only to be rivaled in popularity by the sweet and spicy appetizer the Yum Yum Cauliflower. This is marinated in peanut butter, maple syrup, soy & hot sauce then lightly breaded with Panko breadcrumbs & deep fried. It's served over cilantro cucumber slaw and drizzled with yum yum sauce. If you're seeking some hearty fare the Short Rib Grilled Cheese served on grilled focaccia with arugula, creamy brie and horseradish sauce served with fries is one of owner Martin Hoeger's personal favorites. If you've been missing Steam Pub's Crab Cakes, you'll now find them accompanied by Yukon mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, potato chips, and topped with a citrus aioli. This classic has made a comeback.

From happy hour to evening drinks check out the newly added Poblano Escobar cocktail. This spicy sip is flavored with Poblano, jalapeño & cucumber infused tequila, with kiwi syrup, agave nectar, pineapple juice, and fresh squeezed lemon & lime. The perfect summer sip offering is the Strawberry Blonde made with strawberry vodka, mango passion fruit liqueur, muddled strawberries, lemonade, and topped with a splash of Blue Moon.

Two new drinks now available at the bar were featured at the 2023 Bucks Happening Bash. The Spanish Peach Margarita with Corralejo Silver, Peach Schnapps, Agave Nectar, Lemon Juice and Mint Leaves and the Passionate Souls Paloma with Corralejo Reposado, Simple Syrup, Lemon Juice, Passionfruit Pureé, Cayenne Tincture, Angostura Bitters, and Grapefruit Soda with a rim of Tajín are perfect if you're looking for something new to sip.

Steam Pub is under renovations that will almost double the size of the deck. There are plans for an eighteen seat bar as well as a partially covered dining area. The rebuild will be done with composite decking, new lighting, and fans for comfort on warmer days. A local florist will be working to transform the space into an oasis. At least part of the space will be usable for three seasons. A small kitchen renovation is also under way to be able to ensure service stays at the level guests expect from Steam. Once renovations are completed they will be able to accommodate more guests outside and you will be able to reserve tables on the deck. Stay tuned for information on upcoming happy hour entertainment for the outside area as well.

Whether you are looking for a date night, a drink solo at the bar, to book a large party or take the family out for dinner Steam has you covered. On the earlier side Steam is great for couples or families. They can accommodate large parties and the nights with entertainment provide a popular singles scene. No matter when you visit don't forget to take a peak across the street to see the renovations where Martin and his wife are creating an ice cream and coffee cafe that will also serve smoothies, fresh baked goods, and Acai bowls. They are hopeful for a spring 2024 opening.
