Three Stooges Film Fest

When: Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2-3:30 PM
Where: The Newtown Theatre – 120 North State Street, Newtown, PA 18940

Slapstick fans are invited to “nyuk-nyuk-nyuk” it up with Larry, Moe, and Curly during the Newtown Theatre’s 6th annual Three Stooges Film Fest on Sunday, April 2 at 2 p.m. Michelle Squiccimara, registrar and outreach coordinator of the Stoogeum history museum in Ambler, will host the event and introduce five classic short films: Hello Pop! (1933), A Pain in the Pullman (1936), Loco Boy Makes Good (1942), Three Little Pirates (1946), and Three Hams on Rye (1950). Tickets are available at online for $20 per person ($15 for members) or $25 at the door (if available). All seating is general admission.

Cookie Decorating at Coterie Commons

When: April 1st at 6pm
Where: 72 N. Main St. Doylestown, Pa 18901

Coterie Commons is hosting a spring-themed cookie decorating class! Amy, from She Makes Pretty Cakes, will be teaching tips and tricks on how to create delicious treats! Be sure to register as tickets are limited and this is an event that you will not want to miss. The cost is $75/per person. Come on by and learn a new skill or bring a friend and have some fun! Easter Egg Hunt at the Pearl S. Buck House

When: Saturday, April 1st from 10am-12pm
Where: 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, PA

The historic Pearl S. Buck House is hosting a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt! This free event will be a fun and exciting morning for children and families. There will be separate egg hunts for different age groups and at 10am, the Easter Bunny will be dropping by for a visit! Families are invited to stick around after the hunt and peruse the gift shop or take a tour of the Pearl S. Buck House National Historic Landmark Museum. Youth Fishing Derby at the Borough Dam

When: Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 8 am
Where: Boro Mill Hill Rd. and E. State St., Doylestown, PA

April 1st is the opening day of Trout Season across Pennsylvania! For kids ages 16 and under who are interested in fishing, the Friends of the Borough Dam have organized a Youth Fishing Derby at the Doylestown Borough Dam. This annual event offers kids the chance to learn and practice fishing in the fully stocked waters of the Borough Dam. Rods and bait will also be provided to those in need. Free burgers, hotdogs, and other refreshments will be available for the kids at the event.

Newborn Goat and Piggy Party at Rose Bridge Farm & Sanctuary

When: April 2nd from 6:30-7:30pm
Where: 1314 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025

Come visit the farm during the quiet hour right before the animals get put to bed. You can help the farmers give the goats their last bottle and snuggle them before they get tucked in for the night. You’ll also get the chance to feed the horses and sheep and visit the kittens, bunnies, and baby piglets! Tickets for the evening can be purchased online.

Mamma Mia! at Central Bucks High School South

When: Friday, March 31, at 7:30pm and Saturday, April 1, at 2:00pm & 7:30pm
Where: 1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA 18976

The Titan Thespians present “Mamma Mia”! The timeless story follows a young girl’s search for her birth father. Accompanied by ABBA's timeless songs, this is a tale of love, laughter, and friendship. Performances run on both Friday and Saturday, so you have a few chances to catch this show. All tickets are $15. Online ticket sales will end one hour before curtain for each performance. Hortulus Spring Market and Grand Reopening

When: April 1st and 2nd from 10am-4pm
Where: 60 Thompson Mill Rd, Newtown, PA

All are welcome to the Hortulus 2023 Spring Market & Grand Re-Opening! Come on by for an immersive springtime experience filled with color, flowers, and plants galore, all nestled comfortably inside a heated greenhouse. There will be children’s activities, food and beverages, and a curated selection of the area’s top artists and makers selling their homemade goods! The free event will be rain or shine.

Comedy Night at the Bar at 1720

When: April 1st at 6:30pm

Malcom Clark Jazz Trio at the Boiler Room
