The holidays are here, and it's always a popular time of year to celebrate the season with food and drinks. Whether you're gathering with friends, family, coworkers, or a date, there are plenty of places in Bucks County to enjoy festive flavors and toast to the holidays. (Note: Many of these spots also offer catering! So you can let the experts do the work, and enjoy delicious food in the comfort of your home.)

Steam Pub

With festive menu additions, a fun casual atmosphere, and a great lineup of holiday events, there are plenty of reasons to visit Steam Pub this season. Meet up with friends for drinks and apps, get out of the office for a holiday lunch, make it a date night, or enjoy dinner with the fam. Annabella’s Italian Restaurant

Lambertville Station Restaurant & Inn

Housed in a former train station alongside the Delaware River, the Lambertville Station offers beautiful views of Lambertville and New Hope, charming décor, and delicious food and drinks. You can dine at The Station all season long, but they also offer special menus for Christmas. You can dine a la carte on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with special menu items such as butternut squash bisque, fried mozzarella, roast duck, filet mignon, and holiday turkey with all the trimmings. Washington House

The Washington House is joined with a boutique hotel and located right next to the Sellersville Theater, making it a charming destination for a holiday getaway. If you’re visiting for Christmas Eve, there will be a special lunch menu with your choice of soup or salad, entrée, dessert, and coffee for $26. Some menu favorites include New England clam chowder, jumbo lump crab and shrimp cake, filet mignon, and roasted chicken in a truffle cream sauce. (Separate menu for children priced at $12.)

Logan Inn 

New Hope founder John Wells originally established the Logan Inn as a tavern in 1722. It is Bucks County’s oldest continuously run inn and the only in-town hostelry on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s always a great spot to stop for a meal while out enjoying holiday shopping and other festivities in New Hope. For Christmas Eve, Logan Inn is offering a two-course dinner (plus dessert) for $65 per person. Choose from menu items such as pumpkin ravioli, braised short ribs, and chicken & shrimp carbonara. Black Bass Hotel

The Black Bass Hotel was built in the 1740s and was a haven for river travelers, traders, and sportsmen. The hotel once turned away George Washington, was the victim of a massive fire, and has since hosted many famous people. Although the hotel’s history is extensive, one thing has not changed – its rich tradition of fine dining and warm hospitality. And it’s especially beautiful during the holidays. Visit throughout the season to enjoy a wonderful meal with family and friends. On Christmas Eve, there will be a special 4-course meal from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $99 per person. Menu highlights include shrimp bisque, jumbo lump crab cake, Charleston Meeting Street Crab (their signature dish), braised short rib, roasted Christmas goose, and butter run pecan cake. There will also be a New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Day Brunch.

Pineville Tavern

Pineville Tavern is now accepting reservations for its annual Christmas Day Buffet, offered from noon to 7 p.m. Priced at $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, this holiday favorite include appetizers such as mussels in red or white sauce and penne in a tomato cream sauce, carving stations with roasted turkey, rib roast, and baked ham, and classic sides like sausage and sage stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans with crispy onions. Pineville Tavern is open with a full menu on Christmas Eve, and also offers catering.
