Your 2017 Fall Family Fun Guide is presented by The Dance Academy. Since 1987, The Dance Academy in Holland, PA has been offering professional dance training with a personal touch, instilling the love of dance to students and families throughout Bucks County. Under the direction of Miss Donnajean Kline (BFA in Dance, Temple University) and staffed by a group of highly-trained instructors, The Dance Academy has acquired countless awards and accolades each year at local, national, and international competitions. The Shady Brook Farm Fall Fest 2017

Doylestown Arts Festival

Celebrating its 26th anniversary, the Doylestown Arts Festival is hosted by Discover Doylestown and presented by The Thompson Organization. Selections include paintings, photography, jewelry, wood & metal work, furniture, pottery and more. Five stages of live music and various activities will be featured throughout town. A morning Remembrance Ceremony will mark the chronological events to remember and honor those we lost with music and prayer.

“Stewards of the Legacy” will help honor the day. The ceremony will feature musical performances by the South Vocal Ensemble of Council Rock High School South, directed by Corey Axler, with special guests from Afton Elementary School students, directed by Laurie Gougher. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:30PM.

 

Peddler’s Scarecrow Festival

Over 50 crafters will present a wide variety of interesting crafts, and demonstrations will include: chair caning, quilting, and rug hooking. Our latest addition, a Farmer’s Market, will sell fresh-from-the-farm produce. Folk music, children’s activities, games, horse-drawn hayrides and a colonial militia encampment will be held throughout the day. Featured this year is a Puppet Theater in the Boone Garden. Local restaurants are participating in our Festival of Foods and Open Hearth Cooking will also be demonstrated.

Historic Fallsington Day
