The fall air is crisp and the weekends are full of all of the autumnal festivities. Hortulus Farm is on their second weekend of their Harvest Festival – the perfect family friendly destination to experience all things fall. Yardley Harvest Day has been rescheduled to this Saturday, a favorite Bucks County event with vendors, great food and activities. Check out our full list of weekend happenings below. Weekend Happenings
Hortulus Harvest Festival
When: October 14-15, 10 am – 4 pm
Where: 60 Thompson Mill Road, Newtown, PA
Experience the fall season at Hortulus Farm. Gather all the seasonal elements you need to decorate your home for the season – heirloom pumpkins, gourds and unique seasonal flowers. Bring the little ones to experience the children's activities and crafts. There will also be live music, fall themed fare, coffee and libations.

Yardley Harvest Day
When: October 14, 10 am-5 pm
Where: Yardley, PA
Yardley Harvest Day is a community-wide, annual vendor's event located in downtown Yardley, PA that features unique crafters and artisans, businesses, kids and adult entertainment, and delicious food. Whether a vendor, business, or visitor, this is the best Bucks County event you do not want to miss.

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides in the Vineyard
When: October 14, 1-3:30 pm
Where: 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie, PA
Enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through the vineyard to celebrate fall! Celebrate fall with a special afternoon on October 14th and enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through the vineyard. Grab a glass of wine or some warm pumpkin wine and enjoy the beautiful scenery at Bishop Estate. The wagon can accommodate 12 people at a time. We will have 5 time slots for the wagon rides in which you must sign up in advance (see below). Each ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. Tickets for both adults and children are $25 each and include a glass of Pumpkin wine, OR hot chocolate, followed by an opportunity to do some Grape Stomping!! If the child is small enough, they can sit on an adult's lap without a ticket.The wagon rides will be departing at the following times: 1 pm, 1:30 pm, 2 pm, 2:30 pm, 3 pm.

Intuitive Brunch Exploring the Multiverse | Mom's Cookie Bar
When: October 15, 12-2 pm

Participate in an extraordinary morning of intuitive exploration at Mom's Cookie Bar in Doylestown, PA while enjoying brunch snacks & complimentary mimosa. This in-person event promises to be a unique experience that will leave you feeling inspired and connected. Come hungry for both knowledge and scrumptious cookies! The Intuitive Guide will share her knowledge & answer questions on other realms, spirit guides, intuition, auras, the other side, and more! Learn how to communicate with the energy around you and listen to the “nudges” of the universe! Nosh on scrumptious treats while deepening your mind & spirit.

Murder Mystery Dinner | Bolton Mansion
When: October 13 -15
Where: 85 Holly Drive Levittown, PA
Bolton Mansion is a tangible link to the early history of Bucks County and Pennsylvania. The Murder Mystery Dinner at Bolton Mansion combines suspenseful storytelling and a delicious dining experience, creating an engaging and interactive experience for guests. The event will take place in a cathedral-style tent on the lawn of Bolton Mansion. The dress code is casual. Please wear comfortable shoes!

Cocktails at the Castle
When: October 14, 6-10 pm
Where: E. Court Street & Route 13, Doylestown, PA
Enjoy an unforgettable evening of culinary delights and tantalizing cocktails at the Mercer Museum’s major annual fundraiser that benefits our year-round education, exhibition and community initiatives. Cocktails at the Castle is a highlight of the Bucks County social calendar, and features a dizzying array of culinary samplings from area restaurants, caterers, and bakeries, as well as crafted cocktails, live music and dancing, and the legendary dessert lounge under the grand tent of the Mercer Museum.

3rd Annual Witches Brew | The Talking Teacup

Calling all witches – embrace your inner witch and don your most mystical attire for the Third Annual Witches Brew – an enchanting night filled with brewing, mixing and spellbinding delights. There will be magical mixers, or bring your own mini bottles for your own concoctions. Join us on October 16th at 5:15 PM for a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting event for our new playground at Broad Commons Park!The event will feature Bucks County Bubbles, Ben's Balloon Animals, Face Painting by Madelyn, Kona Ice, and more! Our newest playground equipment was custom-made to capture the spirit of Doylestown, featuring a castle, tree trunk slide, storytelling space, a we-go-round, and more. The playground will be fully accessible, fenced, and will include many sensory-friendly elements!
31st Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Gala
When: October 19, 6-9 pm
Where: 171 Jacksonville Road, Ivyland, PA
YCCA Bucks County is holding the 31st Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference in Bucks County Gala at Spring Mill Manor on October 19th. There will be raffles and a cash bar. Attire is cocktail/business and you can register to attend online.
