Patricia Walsh Collins, founder, and director of Earth School in Point Pleasant, PA, teaches children to welcome their inner wisdom, connect to the earth, and live from the heart in week-long summer camps. When she explained her Earth School classes for children aged 7 to 12, I was enthralled and declared, “Hey I want to go to a class like that!”

What is Intuition and Why Do I Want It?

What is intuition? Where does it lie within us? How can we heighten our awareness of it? Patricia explains that there is also a WHY component to “energy work.” Specifically the question to ask ourselves is, “WHY should we seek out and practice our connection to intuition?”

She teaches that intuition is your sixth sense, your instinct. Why is it important to connect with intuition? Patricia believes that there are many possible benefits to connecting with your intuition. If we tap into our intuition we are more aligned with our own personal truth. We re-establish a spiritual connection with ourselves and the Earth. We acknowledge our inner wisdom. Can those benefits translate to something concrete in the lives of women?

The Benefits of Intuition

The answer is, yes! In Patricia's experience, connecting with your intuition can lead to increased confidence, a decrease in stress, and an increase in new ideas and creativity. The connection can help you feel motivated to make a change in your life, try something new, or simply feel better about where you are in your life. Re-connecting with your intuition – heightening your awareness of it and discovering where it can be found takes practice.

Earth School For Kids Summer Sessions 2022

Patricia teaches children to connect to their intuition at her Earth School and offers week-long sessions from 9:00 to 3:00 daily for children aged 7 to 12. The summer sessions are available for sign up today and space is limited. A special week long session for 13 to 15 year olds is available this summer for the week July 11 to July 15.
